We had a fantastic time staying at this home. More than enough space for my wife and I. The home owners stopped by and brought us fresh donuts and a jar of home made canned peaches that were fantastic. We are already making plans to rerun for another long weekend.

My husband and I had a lovely stay here! The house is very charming and comfortable – way more than we needed for two people. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the large bath and hanging out around the fire pit, which kept us toasty warm. (I called and asked about firewood and the hosts made sure to provide it, which was so nice.) Katie and Ivan were very welcoming and even shared a jar of their canned peaches and some fresh baked donuts with us! Katie was very responsive by phone, called to check in on us, and came by to welcome us. No wifi but we did have cell service. It was about 20 minutes from Lancaster and we loved spending time in town, too. Thanks so much for hosting!

There were 8 of us ladies staying in this beautiful Amish home for 2 nights. Oh how we all wanted to stay longer! If you are looking for a totally private home, close to everything (Sight & Sound, Intercourse shopping, outlet shopping, Rt 30, etc) with so much history, beauty, conveniences, and warmth, this is your place! We went to their family butcher and had ribeye steaks cut fresh and cooked out on the gorgeous back deck. We enjoyed a campfire in the totally secluded wooded back yard down by the creek in the evening, lots of laughter, and felt safe, and right at home! We are booking this same place for next year and everyone of us is looking forward to staying here again! I’m so happy we discovered this gem!
