Stay in an Amish Home

The Otterbein Acres Amish Bed & Breakfast is our only lodging not located in Lancaster County. It’s about a 90 minute drive west of Lancaster, surrounded by the foothills of the Blue Mountains of Franklin County, Pennsylvania. This lodging is perfect for those who wish to experience an Amish Bed and Breakfast away from the (sometimes) busy tourist atmosphere of Lancaster County. This is also one of only two lodgings we offer where you stay in the home of an Amish couple (instead of in a private guesthouse). Jon & Lena’s home is located on their son’s farm property where you will find sheep, cows, horses, hens, sheep dogs & a sheep milk cheese facility.

This lodging has two bedrooms and a private half bath (shower is in 1st floor bathroom, shared with hosts). This is a rare opportunity to stay in the home of a friendly Old Order Amish couple. The Otterbein Acres Amish Bed & Breakfast offers an authentic taste of Amish life that most tourists never get to experience.
