Guests who stay in the Paradise Amish Bed and Breakfast are offered a rare opportunity to interact with an Amish family. John & Sarah have 5 children ranging in age from 4 to 21 years of age. Although this is not a farm property, there are horses, goats and chickens, as well as a large vegetable garden out back. For guests staying more than one night, a tour of the property may be available if time allows (please ask if interested). This Amish Bed and Breakfast has a great, central Lancaster County location – near the towns of Intercourse, Bird in Hand & Strasburg. It’s surrounded by attractions such as the Sight & Sound Theater, Strasburg Rail Road, Dutch Wonderland and much more. Less than 5 minutes down the road you’ll find a great Amish Farm tour and Amish buggy ride.
This simple accommodation has 2 bedrooms (sleeps 6 guests in 1 queen & 2 full size beds), a full kitchen, sitting room & bathroom w/shower. The guest home has electricity and a self-serve breakfast is provided (eggs, bread, jam, coffee & tea). During the months of Jan. & Feb. a free breakfast is brought over to the guesthouse each morning (except Sundays). The Paradise Amish Bed and Breakfast is perfect for guests who desire some interaction with an authentic Amish family. This is a no frills lodging and not a good option for those requiring the usual amenities and luxuries of a modern bed & breakfast.
